Denali - Plane Ride to Denali Summit

Lee had made arrangements for us to take a plane ride to see the Denali Summit (Mt. McKinley) and the surrounding glaciers. We had a perfect day for the flight and we were both so excited.
Here are some interesting facts: Denali Summit is the highest mountain (20,320 feet). The greatest concentrations of glaciers are in The Alaska Range. Glaciers cover approximately 29,000 square miles, or 5% of Alaska. There are an estimated 100,000 glaciers in Alaska. Three-fourths of all the fresh water in Alaska is stored in glacial ice.. This plane ride took us over the Denali National Park. Now are you ready for some spectacular pictures!
The last three pictures are of some mountains we viewed on our way up to the summit. This ride was the highlight of our trip!
