Rosanne and Jim
Lee's sister Rosanne and her husband Jim flew in from Iowa to spend a few days with us in New Orleans...we again took a shuttle to the French Quarter to catch the last day of the festival. The architecture of the quarter with all the different wrought iron balconies was fascinating...it is what you see in all of the pictures of Mardi Gras. Each one is so detailed and ornate.... if you are lucky, most restaurants have outdoor seating on the second floor so you have great street views from these balconies.
We revisited Franklin Square with Rosanne and Jim....Rosanne was most helpful with our decision to custom order a piece of art. We can't wait to receive it when we get back home to Maine.
We made dinner reservations at one of New Orleans' famous restaurants, Dickie Brennan's Tableau. The food was amazing and the ambience delightful. After great food, wine, and conversation it was time to get back and rest up for another big day tomorrow!
