Houston, We have A Problem!

Are we having fun yet???? Lee and I got up super early and ready to go when Lee discovered that there was something possibly wrong with the rear axle since both our tag tires were worn and bubbled...keep in mind that these are relatively new tires! Well there goes the Calgary Stampede! With a cup of high test coffee in hand, we both began to triage the problem from different perspectives. Lee went up to the office to see if we could extend our stay..unfortunately they were booked....he also asked for some truck repair shops. so this is where the fun began! Thank goodness for our Verizon Jetpack because we were on our lap top/IPad searching for different repair shops and hopefully connect with a human being instead of answering machines to find and schedule an appointment for Monday morning since all shops were closed for the weekend! Meanwhile I was able to make reservations at another campground for the next couple of days which actually worked out well since the repair shop we will be going to is located about 5 miles from where we will be staying. Sounds pretty good. Now all we have to do is drive 35 miles very slowly with our flashers on...I will be trailing in the Jeep behind Lee. We were able to contact an FMCA MEMBER, Bryan Paquin, of the Canadian Northern Lights Chapter for assistance. Would you believe that he lived two minutes away from us and graciously came over to us to lend another set of eyes on our situation? I am not sure what is happening as I write this but will get back to the blog when we are settled in our new campground.
