Well my friends, we were very blessed. Bryan and his wife Dale graciously offered us an opportunity to park our Motorcoach at their home which was located just a couple of miles from where we were....they even had a 30amp hookup in their driveway. After looking at the tires again, we decided to take them up on their offer since we didn't really feel comfortable traveling 35 miles. So we canceled the campground reservations and followed Bryan to his home where we met Dale.
We hooked up to the electricity and then enjoyed some chilled iced tea sitting in their beautiful screened in gazebo.
For the first time that day, I could see Lee relaxing. You would have thought that we were old friends by the easy conversation.
By the time we were ready for dinner, Dale (bless her ❤️) made some fabulous "heavy" hor'dourves.
I cooked up some spanakopita to add to the mix. Then their next door neighbor David came over to visit and he brought over some wild Saskatoons which he picked on his property. Saskatoons are very similar to blueberries but more tart....and wouldn't you know, Dale brought out all the fixings (brown sugar, milk, ice cream) for a Saskatoon dessert....just delicious!
After all was said and done, a plan of action was in place for Monday which was comforting at the end of the day. And since we would be there on Sunday, plans were made for Bryan and Dale to take us sightseeing.
By the time we went to bed, we felt very taken care of.....which we really needed! We were so grateful! Thank you Bryan and Dale for everything!
