Let the Games Begin!

It was very early Monday morning when the “games” began.  Lee made additional calls to troubleshoot the best place to bring the coach for the necessary repairs and it was decided that Freightliner was the place…so Bryan and Lee headed out together for the day. Here are some pictures of our tires!

Dale and I enjoyed a special day together relaxing, schmoozing, and getting further acquainted.  I was also able to do laundry which was such a big help and very overdue.  For those of you unfamiliar with dry camping, you are using water stored in your tank as well as storing the used grey (waste) water, so doing laundry is almost impossible because there is no way to dump the saved stored water.  So it was Dale to the rescue once again!
Dale just fell in love with our little Sammy.  She had sadly lost her dear Bailey, a miniature dachshund, a few years ago.  I was able to see a beautiful photo album of Bailey as well as another album of Ovie who was a dog she had prior to Bailey.  She and Sammy spent a lot of time together!
Dale is such a creative person…she showed me the greeting cards she makes for all occasions….I just loved them and was able to buy a few of my favorites.
Since Lee and I ran out of wine, we drove to a convenience store nearby and picked up a couple of bottles.  When we returned, it was definitely cocktail time in the gazebo. Woohoo!
The guys returned quite late and regaled us the stories about what was wrong with the coach and what needed to be done….to make a very long story short, our shocks were literally “shot”, our air bags were frayed, and of course we needed two new tires.  The shocks and airbags had to be ordered and the tires, lucky for us, were in stock!  This meant the repairs would have be done on Thursday morning.
Wow!
Bryan and Dale were again our lifesavers…..I bet that they didn’t expect to have guests in their driveway for almost a week, but as I said, a special friendship was made…the saying “mi casa es su casa” (my house is your house) became their mantra and one that we will never forget!
